Remember, remember: book the tickets before they sell out.
There is something gloriously, unapologetically British about standing in a damp park in November, clutching a hot drink and gasping at the sky like you’ve never seen colour before. We wouldn’t miss it. And with 5 November landing on a Thursday this year, London has spread the fun across two whole weekends (plus a few on the night itself), which means you could, in theory, go to three. We’re not saying we will. We’re not saying we won’t.
The problem, of course, is choice. Drone shows, Diwali crossovers, Disco Ceilidhs, rooftop walks, kids-for-a-quid deals, Victorian palaces, scout-run charity nights. Every borough is putting on a show, and they all want your Saturday night.
So we’ve done the legwork (read: studied every programme, compared every line-up, and mentally tasted every street food stall). From the giant headline festivals to the cosy community bonfires, these are the London fireworks worth wrapping up for in 2026.

How we chose
Our editors have been doing the Bonfire Night rounds for years, and we’ve weighed up every confirmed 2026 display on the things that actually matter: the quality of the show, the atmosphere, the food and drink, how easy it is to get to, and value for money. We’ve covered every corner of the capital, from big ticketed spectaculars to small fundraisers, and we’ll keep this list updated as more details land.
Alexandra Palace Fireworks & Drone Festival, North London

Best for: Going all out, skyline included
When: Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 November 2026 (fireworks 8pm Saturday, 6pm Sunday)
Price: From £18 per day (early birds have already gone)
Address: Alexandra Palace Way, London N22 7AY
Tickets: fireworks.london
Why we love it: Come on, it’s Ally Pally! People have been setting off fireworks on this hill since the 19th century, when the Victorians staged pyrotechnic recreations of Mount Vesuvius and the Spanish Armada (subtle, they were not). The 2026 edition stretches across a full weekend for the first time, and before a single rocket goes up, the sky belongs to Celestial, the drone specialists who finished runners-up on Britain’s Got Talent this year, with hundreds of choreographed aircraft.
Saturday is the big night out. Gates open at 4pm, Eats Everything headlines after the display, and the party runs until 10.30pm. Sunday is the gentler, earlier family edition. Either way, there’s a funfair, ice skating at the Palace’s rink, and a German Bier Festival in the Great Hall, complete with oompah bands and a Queen tribute act.
Our tip? Book the Summit rooftop walk and watch the whole thing unfold around you. And don’t even think about driving: the car parks close and the roads around the Palace shut for the weekend.
Blackheath Fireworks, South East London

Best for: A legend, back where it belongs
When: Saturday 7 November 2026 (gates 5pm, fireworks 8pm)
Price: Ticketed, on sale now
Address: Blackheath Common, SE3
Tickets: blackheathfireworks.com
Why we love it: South-east Londoners waited six long years for this one, and when it finally returned last November, it did not disappoint. Run by the team behind Ally Pally, Blackheath is now properly ticketed rather than free, but trust us when we say the show is worth it.
This year it’s bigger again: around 40,000 people are expected on the Common, the site has grown, and there are now three separate entrances (Blackheath Gate, Lewisham Gate and Greenwich Gate) to keep things moving. New for 2026 is the People’s Stage, given over entirely to local performers. Lovely. Note that 8pm is both showtime and last entry, so don’t dawdle over that second pint.
Battersea Park Fireworks, South West London

Best for: Dancing until your feet go numb
When: Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 November 2026
Price: Ticketed, book ahead
Address: Battersea Park, SW11
Tickets: batterseaparkfireworks.com
Why we love it: We’ll be the ones to say it: Battersea has the best line-up in town. Saturday brings a Rudimental DJ set and Latin band Conjunto Sabroso before the display, then Disco Ceilidh afterwards (yes, it’s exactly as joyful and chaotic as it sounds). Sunday is a different beast, with the Lords of Lightning show from Glastonbury favourites Arcadia and a Taylor Swift tribute act, Fearlessly Taylor, warming up the crowd, followed by a Pop Anthems Afterparty. Fairground rides, natch. Pick your night according to your playlist.
Coram’s Fields, Bloomsbury

Best for: A free show in the heart of the city
When: Thursday 5 November 2026
Price: Free
Address: Coram’s Fields, Bloomsbury, WC1
More info: coramsfields.org
Why we love it: Central London isn’t exactly overflowing with fireworks (for obvious reasons), which makes this one extra special. Coram’s Fields is the charming park where grown-ups aren’t allowed in without a child, and on Bonfire Night it opens its gates to 6,000 people for an 18-minute display with funfair rides and refreshment stalls. On the actual night, too. Tradition, honoured. Just remember to bring a small person.
Stow Firework Spectacular, Walthamstow
Best for: Flexibility (three nights to choose from)
When: 5, 6 and 7 November 2026
Price: Ticketed, book ahead
Address: Walthamstow Cricket, Tennis and Squash Club, E17
Tickets: stowfireworkspectacular.co.uk
Why we love it: So popular it simply couldn’t be contained to one evening. Every night at Stow follows the same winning formula: a quieter display for the little ones, then the full spectacular, with fire performers, games, a funfair and plenty of hot food in between. If your weekend is already booked solid, the Thursday and Friday options are a godsend.
Totteridge Fireworks Night, North London

Best for: People who don’t want the night to end
When: Friday 6 November 2026 (gates 5.30pm, bonfire 6.30pm, fireworks 7.45pm)
Price: Ticketed, card only
Address: Totteridge Millhillians Cricket Club, N20
Tickets: totteridgemillhillians.com
Why we love it: Most fireworks nights wind down once the last rocket fizzles out. Not this one. Food stalls and kids’ rides kick things off, the bonfire roars into life at 6.30pm, the display follows, and then the bars, bands and fire pits keep the whole thing blazing late into the night. A marathon, not a sprint. Leave the cash at home, it’s card only.
Harrow Fireworks, North West London

Best for: A full day out with a Diwali sparkle
When: Saturday 7 November 2026 (from 12pm, fireworks around 7.45pm)
Price: Free entry until 3pm, ticketed after
Address: Byron Park, Harrow
Tickets: harrowfireworks.co.uk
Why we love it: Get there early and you can wander the small funfair, bar marquee and world food arena for free until 3pm. After that you’ll need a ticket, and it’s well worth it: the display is woven together with a Diwali celebration, which makes for a gorgeous double-header. One thing to know: if you don’t book ahead, it’s cash only on the gate (the event supports the Save Our Cash campaign).
Ealing Fireworks: Festival of Fire and Light, West London

Best for: Lantern-lit magic
When: Saturday 7 November 2026 (kids’ entertainment from 6pm, fireworks 7.45pm)
Price: Ticketed, book ahead
Address: Ealing Cricket Club, W5
Tickets: Book via Ticketor
Why we love it: Another beautiful Bonfire Night and Diwali crossover, and this one comes with a lantern parade, which is about as enchanting as November gets. After the display, live music and DJs take over, with food stalls, a bar and children’s rides on hand throughout. Don’t miss the parade, it’s the bit everyone talks about afterwards.
Brentham Club Fireworks Night, Ealing
Best for: Street food and mulled wine
When: Saturday 7 November 2026 (gates 5pm, fireworks 7.30pm)
Price: Ticketed, book ahead
Address: The Brentham Club, W5
Tickets: Book via Ticketor
Why we love it: Ealing really does go all-out on 7 November. Brentham’s offering is a proper community evening with street food from T&T Markets, fairground rides, a kids’ disco (adorable), bars, mulled wine and music all night. Slightly earlier fireworks than its neighbour, too, which is very handy if you have small people with strict bedtimes.
Morden Park Fireworks, South West London

Best for: Celebrating on the actual night
When: Thursday 5 November 2026
Price: Ticketed, book ahead
Address: Morden Park, SM4
Tickets: merton.gov.uk
Why we love it: Merton Council puts on not one but two official shows, and this is the first. There’s a food village and funfair on site, plus two separate displays in one evening: an earlier one designed for young families, then a later one for everyone else. Smart. Everyone gets their moment.
Wimbledon Park Fireworks, South West London

Best for: The weekend version of Morden
When: Saturday 7 November 2026
Price: Ticketed, book ahead
Address: Wimbledon Park, SW19
Tickets: merton.gov.uk
Why we love it: Merton’s second outing follows the same reliable set-up as Morden: refreshment stalls, a funfair, and two displays in one night (early for the little ones, later for the rest of us). If Thursday doesn’t work, this is your Saturday solution, with a very pretty park as the backdrop.
Danson Park Fireworks, Bexley

Best for: Fireworks reflected on water
When: Saturday 7 November 2026
Price: Tickets TBC (sign up on the website for alerts)
Address: Danson Park, Bexleyheath
More info: dansonfireworks.com
Why we love it: Last year’s display was cancelled at the last minute, so we’re delighted to see Danson back on the calendar. Expect a musically choreographed show over the park’s lake, which means double the sparkle as every burst bounces off the water. Full details are still to come, so sign up for updates and pounce when tickets drop.
Beckenham Fireworks, South East London

Best for: Doing good while you ooh and aah
When: Saturday 7 November 2026
Price: Ticketed, book ahead
Address: Croydon Road Recreation Ground, Beckenham
Tickets: beckenhamfireworks.com
Why we love it: Organised by the 5th Beckenham South Scout Group and raising money for local causes, this is community spirit at its finest. A quieter, music-led display for younger children comes first, followed by the main event, and there are funfair rides plus more than 20 food stalls. More than 20! Go hungry.
Dulwich Fireworks, South London

Best for: Families on a budget
When: Saturday 7 November 2026 (live music 5.30pm, fireworks 7pm)
Price: Kids for a quid
Address: Dulwich Sports Club, SE22
Tickets: Book via Eventbrite
Why we love it: The “kids for a quid” deal is back, and local parents know exactly what a gift that is. The 20-minute display comes with a menu that reads like Friday night takeaway heaven (burgers, Indian, pizza), washed down with ale or mulled wine. An earlier 7pm start makes it a winner for younger crowds, too.
Richmond Family Fireworks, West London

Best for: Getting your fireworks fix early
When: Sunday 1 November 2026
Price: Ticketed, book ahead
Address: Richmond Athletic Ground, TW9
Tickets: rag-events.co.uk
Why we love it: Can’t wait until the 5th? Neither can Richmond. This family-focused show kicks off the season a few days early with a choreographed display, funfair rides and food and drink stalls. Consider it the warm-up act. Hear, hear.
Chiswick Community Fireworks, West London

Best for: A proper bonfire with a big heart
When: Saturday 7 November 2026
Price: Ticketed, with a portion of every ticket going to charity
Address: Chiswick Rugby Club, W4
Tickets: chiswickrugby.co.uk
Why we love it: Every ticket sold here sends money straight to Maggie’s cancer charity, so you can enjoy your toffee apple with a clear conscience. It’s an old-school affair in the best way, with a real bonfire, fireworks and live music. Book ahead, it’s a local favourite
Lee Valley Fireworks at Gunpowder Mills, Waltham Abbey

Best for: History buffs (and lovers of irony)
When: Saturday 7 November 2026
Price: Ticketed, book ahead
Address: Royal Gunpowder Mills, Waltham Abbey, Essex
Tickets: gunpowdermills.com
Why we love it: Just a hop beyond the London border, and frankly we can’t think of a more fitting venue for a night that marks a gunpowder plot. The Gunpowder Mills hosts a traditional, no-gimmicks fireworks display, and sometimes that’s all you need. Guy Fawkes would have had thoughts. What an interesting dinner party that would have been!
Now, go and find your gloves. And if you’re already dreaming of the next big night out, our guide to Christmas in London is coming very soon.
